Vanessa Mathews is the managing director of Mathews Family Law.

Vanessa is an accredited family law specialist and an accredited family dispute resolution practitioner. She is also trained in collaborative law and mediation.

Vanessa has degrees in commerce, social work and law and her work experience in each of these areas, including more than ten years in family law, provides her with a unique mix of commercial, interpersonal and legal skills not often found in a family law professional. She is known for her 'empathetic' approach towards clients and the partnership which she forges with them.

Vanessa is experienced in working with clients with complex issues arising from relationship breakdown.

Vanessa enjoys living and working in her local area. She is married with two children: a daughter 18 years of age, and a son 14 years of age. 

Vanessa is an active member of the family law profession and is a member of the following organisations:

Kuppy Nambiar is a consultant to Mathews Family Law and an accredited family law specialist.

After studying law at the University of Adelaide, Kuppy worked in Adelaide for 10 years, primarily in family law but also in other areas of law including criminal, commercial, personal injury, conveyancing, estate litigation, wills and probate. This background has provided her with a broad, practical understanding of the issues people face during the separation process.

Since 2000, Kuppy has been based in Melbourne working exclusively in family law, and has experience in all matters relating to relationship breakdown, including property settlement, arrangements for children, child support, divorce and injunctions. Her focus is on achieving the best possible outcome for her clients in the least traumatic way.

Kuppy is an active member of the family law profession and has a strong commitment to community education.
