From 1 July 2009, Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners must have met the accreditation standards provided by the Family Law (Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner) Regulations 2008.

 

From 1 July 2009, Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners must have met the accreditation standards provided by the Family Law (Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner) Regulations 2008.

 

Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners having met the accreditation standards will be authorised to issue a certificate confirming that an attempt at Family Dispute Resolution has been made pursuant to section 60I of the Family Law Act 1975.

 

Vanessa Mathews is an Accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (and Accredited Family Law Specialist). She has practised as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner since July 2007, when the mandatory requirement for Family Dispute Resolution was introduced by the Family Law Amendment (Shared Parental Responsibility) Act 2006.
